The initial consultation is the first step in your journey with K9 Revamped. You and your dog will meet one of our trainers and discuss your goals, challenges and expectations. We will assess your dog's temperament, behavior and learning style, and design a customized training plan that suits your needs.

*Note: Most obedience and reactivity/aggression problems will require follow up sessions/programs.
What to expect?
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE CONSULT
A behavior analysis, environmental/home analysis, and a clear plan to achieve your goals.
A detailed plan from the trainer on which programs will best suit you.
We use a combination of behavioral modification and balanced training methods.
We will show you the ‘how-to’ which will help you with your training goals and lifelong commitment.
Duration: typically 1.5 hours to 2 hours

Obedience Programs
It ALL starts with the Fundamentals
Basic Obedience
K9 Revamped offers a foundational training program designed to foster a strong relationship between dogs and their owners. The program emphasizes the importance of early communication and understanding, setting the stage for a well-behaved and responsive pet. By focusing on essential commands in a controlled environment, the program ensures that both the dog and owner are equipped with the skills needed for everyday interactions.
Intermediate Obedience
The Intermediate Obedience program offers a comprehensive training program tailored to enhance the obedience and behavior of a dog after working the basic obedience program and is able to perform tasks with ease and exhibit a strong grasp of core fundamentals. With a focus on moderate distractions, distances, and durations, this program is designed to challenge dogs and refine their skills in a controlled environment. The program addresses common behavioral issues.
Advanced Obedience
The Advanced Obedience program is an excellent program for dog owners aiming to enhance their dog's abilities and obedience levels. It is designed for dogs have a solid foundation of intermediate obedience and behavior, as this allows for a more focused training on advanced commands. The program emphasizes training in more challenging environments, which helps dogs learn to follow commands amidst distractions, over longer distances, and for extended periods.
Additional Programs
Private Sessions
Private Sessions are designed to set up you and your dog for success without cutting corners. At K9 Revamped we take pride in our client’s success and long-term results.
We typically meet three times during the program, giving you plenty of time to practice with your dog between our sessions. (We ask that you practice 10-15 minutes four times a day)
One One sessions are designed to help you lead and communicate with your dog, understand their behavior, while overseen by a K9 Revamped Trainer.
Group "Non-Reactive"
Group sessions includes off-leash interaction and on-leash obedience training.
These sessions are a great way to socialize and exercise your dog, and to work on obedience in a high-distraction setting.
POST-PRIVATE LESSONS
Must have completed K9 Revamped private sessions (typically 15 sessions - minimum).
REQUIREMENTS
Your dog must be non-reactive among other dogs and people to join this class and must have completed a K9 Revamped Training Consult.
Group "Reactive"
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Reactive Group Training is geared for reactive dogs, or dogs genetically bred for defense. Dogs who have behavioral issues with reactivity on-leash, in-house, or off-leash will benefit from this class.
REQUIREMENTS
Prior to enrolling it is required to complete a training consultation and private sessions.

Working Through Behavior Issues
